I JUST MET A HOSTBOARD MEMBER FACE-TO-FACE!!

Meg (Stebbary) and I met at a smaller mall as we only live about 20 minutes from one another. She purchased my Felicity scenes & settings, and I got to meet her and her darling daughter and darling son!!

It was great to meet you and your kids, Meg!!

Oh for neat! Its too bad everyone is so scattered across the country lol... my brother is in this Minnesota subaru club and a few times a year everyone meets in some city in MN and they spend the day driving around, going to eat, looking at each others cars, scenery, etc.... too bad there couldnt be something like that for all of us! It would be neat to put faces with the names! Thats why I thought a post with just pictures of us, not dolls would be a neat idea! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Cool - I have met some of the members here while I was at the Madison Sale.

I also belong to another Board and we frequently get to meet since we have been a group for 7 years.

MY DH belongs to a bowrd called Escape Central which if for Ford Escape owners and we go out four wheeling twice a year - FUN

It is GREAT meeting board members face to face. I never set out to - but this was the year for meetings. I got to have lunch with Kitgirl (Tracy) when Rachel and i were in Chicago, I met Mapleleaf (Nia) and her family when I was in Toronto. Tobydoggy (Heather) actually drove to meet me and Jeanie D and I live in the same city!!!

Wow I hope this trend continues in 2006!

Nancy, it was great to meet you too! It was my first meeting with a Hostboard member face to face too! (Although I did a trade/purchase deal with a local person early last month who I told about the Hostboard and who I believe is now a member) We got home after meeting with you and about a minute later the power went out. We had to look at the items by flashlight as it was pretty dark this afternoon. You should have seen us all trying to make out details while holding flashlights! By the way, my daughter was thrilled with the extra 'goodies'. We'll be sending you a PM soon. - Meg B.

Edited to say that I think my DD and I will be making a trip to LA in May to visit the new American Girl Place! Maybe we can meet up with people who live close by then!
